Notice: Temporary Change in Utility Bill Email Sender

There has been a one-time temporary change in the sender's email address for your utility bills due to a scheduled software upgrade. Utility bills for e-billing customers in Area 3, north of the tracks, were sent from the email address cityplap@gmail.com, as opposed to the usual utilityclerk@city-plap.com. This change is a one-time occurrence for e-billing sent out today, February 29, 2024.  There is no concern regarding the security or legitimacy of emails sent from the cityplap@gmail.com, as it is an authorized City of Portage la Prairie email address.
