City of Portage la Prairie’s 2024 Holiday Lights Contest!

We are kicking off our 2024 Holiday Lights Contest and your chance to win a City of Portage la Prairie Gift Package!

All you have to do is decorate your home and/or property and register your address on our Holiday Tour Map.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday, December 11th.

Judging for the “Top 5” submissions will take place on Thursday, December 12th. The top 5 will be posted on our Facebook page for public voting between December 13-17 and the winner will receive a City of Portage la Prairie gift package!

To add your light display to the map:

1. Click the blue "Submit a Light Display" button at the bottom of the panel.
2. Select "New Submission".
3. Click to add a point to the map at your desired location.
4. Enter your address in the address field.
5. Click “+ Add” to add a photo attachment (optional).
6. Click the "Submit" button.
7. Once approved, your information will be displayed in the panel!

It's as easy as that!
