Call-out for Members of New Mayor and Council Advisory Groups

Are you passionate about making a difference in our community? Do you have ideas and insights that can help shape the future of our City of Possibilities? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the following:

Heritage Advisory Group

Members will be called on as needed for discussion and feedback regarding matters such as preserving and promoting the City’s historical and cultural heritage, providing recommendations for the designation of heritage properties, conducting research on local heritage, recommending possible projects, and more.

Public Art Advisory Group

Members will be called on as needed for discussion and feedback regarding matters such as planning and commissioning public art features, organizing public art activities, enhancing the cultural and aesthetic environment of the City, recommending possible projects, and more.

Accessibility Advisory Group

Members will be called on as needed for discussion and feedback regarding matters such as addressing accessibility concerns, assessing accessibility requirements with respect to projects and facilities, and more.

Municipal Advisory Groups play a crucial role in advising City Council and Administration on various topics. Members will have the opportunity to collaborate with City representatives, provide valuable feedback, and contribute to the decision-making process.

• are committed to improving our community
• have a diverse range of experiences and perspectives
• are willing to attend meetings and participate in discussions only when the need arises
• can work collaboratively with others
