Service Disruptions

Water services have been restored to the area of 5^th Street NW from 5^th Avenue NW to 6^th Avenue NW, as well as the area of 6^th Avenue NW from 4^th Street NW to 6^th Street NW.

Temporary Road Closure effective Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 8:00am due to tree trimming: One block sections of the westbound lane on Lorne Avenue W from Tupper Street N to 15th Street NW. These closures will be in effect from 8:00am to 4:00pm intermittently.

3rd Street NW from Saskatchewan Avenue W to Lorne Avenue W has reopened to traffic.

The area of 3rd Street NE from Lorne Avenue E to Fisher Avenue E will have water services restored and the road reopened by 11:00pm this evening.

Water services have been restored to the area of 4th Avenue NE from 5th Street NE to 6th Street NE, as well as 5th Street NE from 4th Avenue NE to 6th Avenue NE.

4th Avenue NE from 5th Street NE to 6th Street NE, as well as 6th Street NE from 4th Avenue NE to 6th Avenue NE will reopen to traffic by 6:30pm this evening.

6th Street NE from 4th Avenue NE to 6th Avenue NE will reopen to traffic by 5:00pm this evening.  Water services have been restored to this area.

Garbage collection for Day 1 is postponed to Sunday, January 19, 2025, due to weather conditions. Recycling pickup will proceed as scheduled.

Garbage collection in zone 2, scheduled for pick up yesterday, December 18th was delayed and will be picked up today.  Garbage collection in zone 3, scheduled for pick up today, will be collected today and tomorrow, December 19^th and December 20^th. Zone 4 will be picked as per the normal schedule.

The road closure of Gigot Avenue from 20th Street NW to 21st Street NW will remain closed until Spring of 2025.
