Delegations to Council – Persons wishing to present information to or make a request of Council may do so by appearing as a delegation.  To register as a delegation, please fill out the online Register as a Delegation form and submit no later than the Wednesday prior to Council to the Manager of Administration.  Delegation registration forms can be submitted online, in person at City Hall or via email to info@city-plap.com.

Invitation to Council – Persons wishing to invite a member or members of Council to an event, please complete this online form.

Council Ad Hoc Committees – Council appoints several committees each year which includes the Municipal Heritage Committee, Public Art Committee and Portage Parks Committee.

Letter of Support Request – If you require a Letter of Support from the Mayor for a grant application, please complete this online form at least two weeks prior to the deadline.

Proclamation Request – If you would like to request a Proclamation signing by the Mayor, please complete this online form at least two weeks prior to the deadline.

Volunteer of the Month Award – The City of Portage la Prairie Volunteer of the Month Award is an opportunity to recognize Portage la Prairie Citizens for their volunteer contributions and commitments to community service. The voluntary service demonstrated should be unpaid and not an employment responsibility. Please complete this online form.
